Activity 2

Member and grantmaker services: over the past four decades, agm has developed a diverse and engaged membership, and today agm thrives as a member-driven organization that provides quality education and resources while serving as a hub of networking and the voice for philanthropy in our region. During 2011, agm assembled well over 1000 funders, nonprofit professionals, and community stakeholders for topical convenings, funder briefings, and roundtable discussions. Agm has taken a lead role in enhancing and building networks within the funding community, providing learning opportunities that foster greater understanding of issues facing the sector, and being a resource for valued services and individual staff support to our grant maker members.

Activity 3

Library information services a program created to provide broad access to reliable information about philanthropy to both grant makers and grant seekers. In 2011 agm secured grants for another year of operation for its three grant resource networks in leominster, lawrence and oak bluffs.
