Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

Capic's conflict of interest policy covers staff members, officers, and board members of the organization. Full disclosure, by notice in writing, is required to be made by all interested parties to the full board of directors regarding any potential conflicts of interest. Following a disclosure of a potential conflict of interest, the board of directors shall determine whether a conflict of interest exists and, if so, the board shall vote to authorize or reject the transaction or take any other action deemed necessary to address the conflict and protect capic's best interests. Both votes shall be by majority vote without counting the vote of any interested director, even if the disinterested directors are less than a quorum provided that at least one consenting director is disinterested. An interested board member, officer, or staff member shall not participate in any discussion or debate of the board of directors, or of any committee or subcommittee thereof in which the subject of discussion is a contract, transaction, or situation in which there may be a perceived or actual conflict of interest. However, they may be present to provide clarifying information in such a discussion or debate unless objected to by any present board or committee member.

PART IV, LINE 2B:

As part of the organization's responsible payee program, funds are held on behalf of clients relating to their social security, ssi, and/or ssdi payments. The organization assists clients in this program to manage and budget their monthly benefits and to ensure that the benefit payments are used for basic needs.

PART X, LINE 2:

The agency accounts for uncertain tax positions in accordance with fasb asc topic income taxes. This topic prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement process for financial statement recognition of uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. This topic also provides guidance on recognition, derecognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosure and transition. At june 30, 2025 and 2024, management believes that the agency does not have any material uncertain tax positions.

THE PROGRAM IS A MULTICULTURAL EDUCATIONAL/RECREATIONAL PROGRAM FOR URBAN YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 12. THE PROGRAM PRIMARILY SERVES THE COMMUNITIES OF CHELSEA AND REVERE.
