Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6

Membership shall be open to all persons without regard to age, race, color, religon, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry or physical disability who are memebers of the american camping association, who choose to be affiliated with the american camp association, new england, and who are willing to abide by the articles of incorporation, by-laws and ethical statements of the association.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7A

Each member is entitled to one vote with respect to the election of officers, board of directors, board stewardship committee, ammendments to the by-laws and other matters as may be submitted for vote by the board of directors.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11

The association's form 990 is prepared by its certified public accountants. A draft of the 990 is submitted to management for review and discussion. Once accepted by management the draft form 990 is submitted to the finance committee for review and approval. Once approved, the final form 990 is submitted to the appropriate board official for signature and filing. A final signed copy of the form 990 is distributed to all members of the board of directors.

Board members and staff are required to fill out the "conflict of interest disclosure statement" annually. This disclosure is part of personnel policies.

LESSONS IN COMMUNITY, CHARACTER BUILDING, SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTHY LIVING HELP ENSURE THAT YOUTH AND ADULTS HAVE THE MOST POWERFUL CAMP EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE.ACCREDITATION IS A VOLUNTARY PEER REVIEW.
