Dues-paying members were eligible to attend all club hours and events. Members holding memberships with guest privileges were permitted to bring a limited number of guests each calendar month (between 2 and 6 depending on the type of membership). Attendance during club hours and at members-only events varied between 15 and 100 attendees. The goal of these events was to provide members with the opportunity to socialize, exchange ideas, learn, and find fellowship with others who share common interests and experiences with respect to BDSM, sexuality, sexual orientation, and gender.

Attendance typically varied between 15 and 100 attendees. The goal of these events was to provide attendees with the opportunity to socialize, exchange ideas, learn, and find fellowship with others who share common interests and experiences with respect to BDSM, sexuality, sexual orientation, and gender, as well as to provide exposure of our organization to potential dues-paying members.

ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0Since 2002, Galleria Domain Two NFP continuously and without interruption has operated consistent with 501(c)(7) as a private, members-only, not-for-profit social club. For 15+ years, the organization timely filed 990 returns. However, we are a small organization with a governing body and officers comprised entirely of volunteers. As President and Treasurer, I have the responsibility to file form 990. Unfortunately, due to circumstances in my personal life and professional life and the heavy burden of volunteering combined with misunderstanding and underestimating the processes of filing form 990 rather than 990 EZ and revocation. In addition, due to the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was unable to meet with Carol Nebehy, a member of the organization's board of directors with extensive accounting experience. We have properly filed an extension for 2021's form 990 and have implemented steps to ensure we file timely going forward.
