To create an economic climate conducive to business growth and the preservation of the vermont quality of life.

- Vace & vlct - the vermont chamber of commerce is the administrator for the vace insurance program, a group health and dental insurance association plan. The vace association plan covers nearly 10,000 small businesses in vermont. Until december 31, 2011, the chamber also administered the health plan for members of the vermont league of cities and towns. All premium billing, enrollments, and customer service is handled by chamber staff. Revenue to the chamber is in the form of monthly administrative contract fees based on the number of subscribers at the end of each month. Expenses relate to salaries, benefits and postage.
- Activity 3
- Events - the vermont chamber of commerce hosts several events throughout the year, generating revenue from sponsorships, exhibition booth sales, and general admission. The largest events include the vermont business & industry exposition, the hospitality gala, and the citizen of the year awards. Expenses related to the events are again attached to event management and support personnel, as well as facility rental, catering, and promotional costs.
