Mission

To provide transportation for individuals to work and/or those seeking employment and employment related services such as child care, job training, application filing, career counseling, employment testing, job skill workshops, employment interviews, school to work programs, education, and skill training. Programs are geared to serve residents of northern berkshire in the state of massachusetts.

To provide quality transportation and related services focusing on the special needs of the communities served by the corporation.

The organization used berkshire community action council (bcac) as its fiscal agent fye 6/30/16. The programs of berkshirerides, inc. Were subcontracted out to bcac and its employees became employees of bcac as of 1/1/15.

The 990 is provided to the interim cfo of berkshire community action council for review. Once this is completed, the 990 is provided to the full board prior to filing.

Members of the board of directors are provided with a copy of the conflict of interest policy annually, which must be signed and returned for review by the president of berkshirerides, inc and the ceo of berkshire community action council (bcac). Members of the board of directors must also report potential conflicts of interest promptly and in writing to both the president of berkshirerides and the ceo of bcac. The president of berkshirerides and ceo of bcac will jointly suggest a resolution to the situation that is in the best interest of tanb.
