Amendments were made to the by-laws of the organization to reflect changes relating to the board of directors, committees, and executive director. There will be 7-12 members of the board, who will serve 3-year terms and meet monthly. Additional committees are being added, such as a finance committee. Addditional details were added to describe the task of the executive directors.

Organization hires a cpa firm to complete the 990. A draft is provided to the exective director and board treasurer for review and approval before filing.

Each director, principal officer and member of a committee with board delegated powers shall annually sign a statement which affirms that such person has received a copy of the conflicts of interest policy and has read and understands the policy, has agreed to comply with the policy, and understands that the organization is a charitable organization and that in order to maintain its federal tax exemption it must engage primarily in activities which accomplish one or more of its tax-exempt purposes. To ensure that the organization operates in a manner consistent with its charitable purposes and that it does not engage in activities that could jeopardize its status as an organization exempt from federal imcome tax, periodic reviews shall be conducted.
