Governance Explanations

The Foundation has an investment committee, which is authorized to oversee the investment of the two endowment funds. The committee meets twice a year and keeps minutes of all meetings. The members include two trustees and three non affiliated members.

The Chairman and President of the Foundation reviews the Form 990 before it is filed. There is no review by the entire board before the form is filed. Any changes or corrections to the draft are returned to the public accountants for final editing before the signature and filing.
