To gather and publish to its members information and news relating to bicycling. To secure a better understanding and recognition of the need for a safer environment for bicycling. To encourage and secure the provision of safe and desirable facilities for bicycling. To observe and promote safe, effective traffic cycling techniques and obey traffic laws. To present written comments and testimony of the views of the members in connection with legislative and administrative proposals relating to traffic regulations, equipment requirements for bicycles, the establishment and maintenance of bicycling facilities, and other actions affecting bicycling. Since its founding in 1971 the organization has become new england's most active adult recreational bicycling club. Through the dedication of many volunteers the organization promotes safety, education, and camaraderie. Throughout the year the organization offers its members organized weekday, weekend, and multi-day rides for road and off-road adult enthusiasts of all ages.
