“Raw Inspiration's mission is to educate children and adults on the importance of a healthy diet, especially on the importance of eating fresh fruits and vegetables daily. This is in conjunction with a good exercise regime as well. To this end, Raw Inspiration was established to be a publicly supported, not-for-profit organization that provides grants and awards to schools for the purposes of installing organic gardens and orchards on the schools premises.With the successful implementation of this primary mission, we have experienced an overwhelming interest in our program with parents of the school children and the residents in the neighboring vicinities of the schools. With the communities growing interest in our mission, the challenge was to implement our programs not only inside the schools but also in the neighborhoods surrounding the schools. As a complement to our educational programs, and to assist in distributing the locally grown produce, we initiated a program where the schools and local growers could distribute their fresh, locally grown fruit and vegetables in small, neighborhood "farmers markets" at venues adjacent or close to the schools where our programs are operating.Raw Inspiration's mission remains one where we educate children and adults on the importance of a healthy diet, especially on the importance of eating fresh fruit and vegetables daily. To accompany that mission, however, we have set up a program where growers can distribute their produce at neighborhood farmers markets. Many of the schools in our program are in inner city areas, and there is a real need to not only grow fresh fruit and vegetables but to also have distribution system set up where the schools and growers can choose to market their produce.Our Mission has further expanded to empower our community through education and awareness of available resources to combat food insecurity. We are dedicated to connecting individuals and families with vital food resources, programs, and services that promote health and well-being. By fostering knowledge and building partnerships, we aim to create a supportive environment where everyone can access the nourishment they need to thrive.Raw Inspiration does not lobby or influence legislation in support of these or any other issues. Our mission as a publicly supported organization is to provide grants and awards to plant fruit orchards and vegetable gardens (organic and natural) as well as improving access to local, healthy, fresh fruit and vegetables by way of the neighborhood farmers markets.”
