Harbor Schools of Maine, Inc. is a not-for-profit child welfare agency dedicated to providing an integrated continuum of quality, strength-based, therapeutic residential and community services to children and families in crisis. Our purpose is to help children and their families achieve their greatest potential by offering a range of quality services that allow us to tailor treatment programs to each individual need. Our therapeutic facilities offer intensive, integrated treatment, psychiatric services in affiliation with Acadia Hospital and an open therapeutic environment. Our programs are rich in recreational activities, nurturance and supportive structure to help the most at-risk youth move back to their families, less restrictive settings, foster homes, or independent living and become productive, healthy members of our communities. Our goal is to enable children and their families to rebuild cooperative and caring relationships at home and in the community.
