To conserve the council's limited resources for future operations and program expansion, the executive director elected to serve in a volunteer capacity during 2024. The council has since established a formal compensation plan and will commence payment to the executive director at a market-based rate once sufficient funds are available. This approach is intended to promote fair compensation and ensure the organization's long-term fiscal sustainability.”
