“Provide educational opportunities and resources to individuals and communities on the island of maui in the state of hawaii. The organization offers educational programs, workshops and seminars regarding yoga and karate specifically to promote lifelong learning and personal development. Educational resources are developed and distributed and mamm collaborates with local institutions and other non profit organizations to enhance initiatives and community outreach, provide scholarships, grants and other forms of financial assistance to individuals pursuing education and training programs.”

“Maui access to mindful movement (mamm) was awarded a hawaii community foundation grant in 2024. Funds were used to produce over 40 community mindful movement events on the island of maui. These gatherings ranged from keiki (children) social events that gave parents a needed night off for yoga and meditation classes-all designed to support mental, emotional and physical well being. By collaborating with established mindful movement teachers and local maui businesses, mamm offered these by-donation events across the island making wellness and connection accessible to all. With an average of 25 participants, these events directly reached more than 1,000 maui residents. Each community event also served as a fundraiser for mamm's scholarship program, helping sustain access to mindful movement year round. Through these foundraisers and community donations, mamm provided over 25,000 in tuition assistance to families who would otherwise could not afford to enroll their keiki in mindful movement programs.”
