“2024 was circle of hope's first year of operation, requiring significant start-up investments to create a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for women and families facing unexpected pregnancies. While launching a new ministry involved foundational costs in operations (17.1%), facilities (6.3%), and marketing/outreach (8.9%), these were prudent one- time investments in rent deposits, furnishings, technology, signage, and website development. Each of these ensured a professional, sustainable infrastructure capable of supporting long-term growth. Even in this startup year, the vast majority of our resources-73,806.72, representing 71.9% of total expenses-went directly to client assistance and support services. This included material aid such as food, clothing, baby supplies, and furnishings; medical support through ultrasounds and ob/gyn care; childcare; housing and utility assistance; transportation through uber and gas cards; counseling and support groups; educational resources and vocational training; as well as tangible encouragement through baby showers, welcome packages, and faith-based programs like embrace grace. The remaining expenses reflect strategic start-up costs that will normalize in future years, enabling an even greater percentage of resources to flow directly to families in need. These early investments ensure circle of hope is positioned to sustainably expand services and provide compassionate, christ-centered support to mothers, fathers, and families for years to come.”
