“The Promise Project was created to provide high quality, in person instructional support to underserved youth, with an emphasis on early grades where timely intervention has the greatest long term impact. Although our formal programs are not yet launched, the initiative is being structured around a future physical site that will operate as a tuition free center offering individualized instruction, diagnostic based learning plans, and an opportunity for students in need to earn scholarships that fully fund their participation. The long term vision includes reading and math intervention tracks, on site support for older students, community workshops, and student grant opportunities. For internal development, the initiative has been actively overseen and organized by our team and has recently begun incorporating volunteer assistance from younger leaders, including early work spearheaded by Alison Nino. She has been helping with initial research, community needs mapping, and early phase planning, and we intend for this to evolve into a more formal youth leadership component as the project grows.”
