“During the 2024 tax year, the sloan paris house foundation, inc. Invested in critical infrastructure, preservation, and site improvements necessary to protect the historic sloan paris house and prepare the property for future public access, education, and community engagement. The organization funded upgrades to the electrical and network infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable operation of the historic property in anticipation of public viewing and educational programming. It also repaired portions of the property damaged during a prior construction project and reestablished landscaping to restore the historic setting and improve accessibility for future visitors. To support responsible public access and future events, the organization installed walking paths and irrigation systems throughout the property, improving safety, durability, and long-term stewardship of the grounds. In furtherance of sustainability and historic preservation, the organization installed a well to support ongoing maintenance of the property. This improvement honors the home's historical use of on-site water resources while reducing long-term operational costs, thereby enhancing financial sustainability for future generations. To protect the historic structure and prepare the site for public access, the organization invested in security improvements, including cameras, perimeter barriers, and exterior lighting, to reduce the risk of vandalism and unauthorized access.
