Promoting the resources of minden to enhance economic growth b. Encourage and assist existing businesses and industries to expand and prosper c. Identify, locate and communicate with new businesses, enterprises and industries best suited to the resources of minden d. Promote specific buildings and industrial sites as location for existing and new business and industries e. Encourage, develop and implement a city-wide economic development strategic plan by working with the chamber of commerce, commercial clubs, educational institutions, state of nebraska, businesses, industries and allied agencies to accomplish its objectives f. Aid and enable successful recruitment of new businesses and industries along with the enhancement of existing businesses and industries g. Help minden and its citizens by increasing employment opportunities, payroll, business volume, tax base, and by improving the quality of life by the coordination of the efforts of local businesses, institutions and political subdivisions h. Increase the skilled labor force for existing and new businesses in the county.”
