The board of directors shall select, hire, annually evaluate the performance of, and at its discretion, terminate the executive director. The board may appoint a sub-committee for purposes of interviewing and evaluating candidates for the executive director position. An annual performance review of the executive director shall be conducted by at least three (3) members of the executive committee, with a report back to the board at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the board. The executive director is an agent of the board and is accountable to the board. The executive director shall have responsibility for the general care, supervision, and direction of the corporations affairs in furtherance of the policies and programs established by the board of directors. The executive directors duties and compensation will be consistent with these bylaws and shall be prescribed by the board of directors and in compliance with any employment contract, if applicable.
