To improve conditions of renters in the Denver Metro area of Colorado through community building, education, and policy.

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
1) We support renters and communities in addressing unsafe and unhealthy living conditions. In doing so, we addressed the most acute needs of renters at a 418-unit property that had no heat and a high number of violations of basic habitability standards. All the top priority goals of community members are currently being met by management.$0$0
2) We support renters and communities in addressing unsafe and unhealthy living conditions. In doing so, we addressed the most acute needs of renters at a 385-unit property that had no functioning exterior doors and numerous related hazards. All the top priority goals of community members are currently agreed to by management, and we are working towards resolution.$0$0
3) We secured and are now facilitating a yearlong stakeholder series between enforcement agencies for the City and County of Denver and local nonprofit organizations. These sessions are working towards more efficient and effective enforcement of habitability standards and public safety in and around multifamily residential rental properties.$0$0
