Development of technical knowledge related to transcription, translation, digitization, and workflow tools Program 4b Guidance on Responsible Use of AI in Judicial Settings Timely Justice provided guidance on the responsible and appropriate use of AI in sensitive judicial environments. The organization developed frameworks, principles, and advisory materials to assist organizations that work with courts in understanding how AI-enabled tools should be introduced and used in ways that respect judicial independence, procedural fairness, data protection, and language access. The organization did not conduct trainings, onboarding, or implementation activities with courts or judicial personnel. Rather, it supported intermediary organizations and judicial support institutions by offering non-operational guidance to inform the design of training programs, adoption strategies, and safeguards for court-facing technology initiatives. Key activities included: ? Development of principles and frameworks for responsible AI use in courts ? Advisory support to organizations designing court-facing training and adoption strategies Program 4c Research, Learning, and International Advisory Support Timely Justice conducted research, learning, and advisory activities to support broader understanding of judicial modernization across jurisdictions. The organization contributed methodological guidance on evaluating administrative reforms and supported comparative learning and knowledge exchange among organizations working in different legal and institutional contexts. During the year, this work included exploratory international advisory and learning-oriented engagements related to judicial systems in Ghana, Kenya, and Zambia.
