Anyone who has a real estate license or works in a related field can apply for membership, and is accepted upon payment of dues and approval of the board of directors.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

No provision has been made for federal or state income taxes because whar has obtained tax exempt status under internal revenue code section 501 (c)(6) and applicable provisions of the hawai'i revised statutes. Whar follows accounting standards codification topic (asc 740), income taxes, which prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for the financial statement recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return, and provides guidance on derecognition, classification, interest, and penalties, disclosure, and transition. Management believes that no such uncertain tax position exists for whar.
