Prior to 2007, the organization collected voluntary contributions from members for the issues mobilization political action committee (impac), a nonprofit, unincorporated committee of realtors. Impac funds supported critical realtor issues and public education about matters that affected realtors. Impac was dissolved in 2007 and remaining funds are reflected in the consolidated statement of financial position as net assets with donor restrictions. During 2024, 45,040 was spent which satisfied donor-imposed restrictions, and 19,661 remains part of net assets with donor restrictions.

The hbr recognizes, measures, classifies, and discloses in the financial statements any uncertain tax positions expected to be taken in the tax returns. Management believes there were no significant uncertain tax positions at december 31, 2024 and 2023.
