“Tennis australia has 8 members, "member associations" which are separate non-profit income tax exempt entities (for the purposes of the income tax assessment act 1997) that are controlling authorities responsible for administrating tennis in each of the states and territories of australia. Each member association appoints representatives to act on its behalf and to exercise powers at general meetings. New members may be admitted if membership criteria are satisfied and membership is approved by a special resolution (75% approval) of the existing members.”
