This shall be recorded in the minutes. at the discretion of the governing body, periodic reviews may be conducted by the fund to insure that the organization's exempt status is maintained.”

Award is hosted by the world agroforestry centre, a cgiar center based in nairobi, kenya. Award is funded by the bill & melinda gates foundation and usaid. The overall goal of award is to build an effective career development program for women in agricultural research and development in sub-saharan africa which will allow african women to participate more fully in agricultural development of the continent. The fund was created so that u.s. Based foundations, individuals, and corporations would be encouraged to support african women's role in the agricultural development of sub-saharan africa.”
