“The preliminary 990 is received by the Executive Director and then passed along to the Treasurer and Office Manager for their approval or questions. If questions arise, the Office Manager will get clarification of the line items. When the above individuals approve the preliminary 990, the return can be finalized. The finalized 990 will be signed by the Board President.”
“All Board Members are required to sign a conflict of interest policy, annually, and disclose any possible conflict of interests.”

“Wellness Project - The Foundation holds live classes both in-person and webcast on a wide range of natural health topics with experts in the respective fields. These were designed to help people heal from chronic health problems and achieve a high state of wellness. Replays of all classes continue to be available on our website. The fee for each is/was based on what an individual can/could afford, including a 0 option. Thousands of individuals attend our classes annually.”
“PPNF encourages our youth to take an interest in health and nutrition. Each year, our board members attend the greater San Diego science and engineering fair, where middle and highschool students exhibit projects. Prizes were awarded to four students to Include certificates of recognition, annual memberships and financial awards.”

“Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation is exempt from incme taxes under section 501c of the Internal Revenue Code and section 23701d of the State Revenue and Taxation Code. The Financial Accounting Standard Board FASB issued accounting standards codification for accounting for uncertain taxes, which sets a minimum threshold for financial recognition of the benefit of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax retun. The Foundation has reviewed its open tax positions for all open tax years and has determined that it has no uncertain tax positions requiring accrual or disclosure.”
