Activity 2

The riverside county philharmonic mission is to make our musical performances available to as many people as possible. We are especially committed to reaching underserved audiences including low income and frail elderly, disabled children and adults and victims of domestic violence. This is why the board of directors and the orchestra established our heartstrings program in 1999.through heartstrings, more than 20,000 beneficiaries of local charity groups have been able to experience (free of charge) powerful symphonic music as guests at riverside county philharmonic masterworks concerts.for this current year heartstrings provided free tickest to 387 people.

Activity 3

The orchestra offers four saturday evening performances and is in high demand throughout the region. It also performs the annual concert for heroes at riverside's national cemetery as a part of 4th of july observances and one performance at the ramona bowl amphitheater.the four saturday evening performances reached an audience of 3686 people. Although there was no way to get an actual count of the audience at concert for heroes it was estimated that 8,000 people attended this years event. The ramona bowl had an estimated attendance of 5,000 people.
