Nsbcuw is organized to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities in northern santa barbara county, california. Nsbcuw works with individuals and organizations to identify and resolve pressing community issues through its various programs.

Landlord liaison program works with landlords to house low-income individuals, and to maintain housing by working with landlords on any issues that arise. Home4good program uses available resources to reduce the number of people who are homeless, and reduce the impacts of homelessness in santa barbara county.

Americorps program members serve in agencies that help veterans and people experiencing homelessness obtain housing, employment, provide assistance to the formerly homeless and connect to other mainstream services to increase self-sufficiency. Americorps expenses were 469,022 in 2017. Common ground program provides donors, volunteers, and advocates the organization they require to reduce homelessness and its impacts through professional and volunteer outreach by connecting homeless individuals with permanent housing and supportive services. Common ground program costs totaled 25,312 in 2017. Landlord liaison program works with landlords to house low-income individuals, and to maintain housing by working with landlords on any issues that arise. This is a new nsbcuw program in 2017 with total expenses of 35,367 for the year. Home4good program uses available resources to reduce the number of people who are homeless, and reduce the impacts of homelessness in santa barbara county. This is also a new nsbcuw program in 2017 which received its first funding in december 2017. Total costs for the year were 2,160 as the program gets started.

COMMON GROUND PROGRAM COSTS TOTALED 25,312 IN 2017. LANDLORD LIAISON PROGRAM WORKS WITH LANDLORDS TO HOUSE LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS, AND TO MAINTAIN HOUSING BY WORKING WITH LANDLORDS ON ANY ISSUES THAT ARISE. THIS IS A NEW NSBCUW PROGRAM IN 2017 WITH TOTAL EXPENSES OF 35,367 FOR THE YEAR. HOME4GOOD PROGRAM USES AVAILABLE RESOURCES TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS, AND REDUCE THE IMPACTS OF HOMELESSNESS IN SANTA BARBARA COUNTY. THIS IS ALSO A NEW NSBCUW PROGRAM IN 2017 WHICH RECEIVED ITS FIRST FUNDING IN DECEMBER 2017. TOTAL COSTS FOR THE YEAR WERE 2,160 AS THE PROGRAM GETS STARTED.
