IRS990ScheduleO/GeneralExplanation/Explanation1During its November 9, 2010 Board meeting, the Blais Foundation acted to revise its bylaws as proposed by Dr. Steven N. Garcia. The revisions were made to clarify and simplify Foundation Officer and Director descriptions, and were made with assistance of legal counsel, and also included review and input from Mr. Rob Lovelace. In addition, the revisions also addressed the number of Directors permissable, instituted an emeritus Director status, and clarified non-voting status for Foundation Officers. It was also noted that the bylaws included recent IRS compliance updates which were provided to Blais Foundation's legal counsel. A motion was made to accept the bylaw revisions and the Directors voted approval.
