Venues have included public and private high schools and colleges, museums, sports arenas, theaters, and other places suitable for presentations of our programs. The Program includes fun and challenging activities that support the growth of the L.A.M.P. Mentees in the four pillars of L.A.M.P. Leadership, Achievement, Management, and Professionalism. We introduce participants to as many institutions as possible, expanding their knowledge base and opening up their minds to career opportunities. In addition, we host sessions that provide the students and parents with an opportunity to learn more about the college admissions process and financial aid as well as writing, networking, financial literacy and interviewing skills. The L.A.M.P. Mentor Program sessions begin, promptly, at 8:30 am, with a continental breakfast, and end at noon, with lunch. The program is free to students and parents. At the end of the ten-month program, there is a luncheon, honoring graduating seniors and rewarding them with scholarship support for college. | $180,071 | $131,821 |
