Mission

Silver lake new hope courtyard apartments is a not-for-profit corporation formed in accordance with the not-for-profit statutes of the state of california. The corporation was formed for the purpose of operating a 14 unit project located in los angeles, california, which provides housing for persons who are homeless, or at risk of being homeless and are afflicted with hiv/aids. The corporation receives housing assistance payments pursuant to section 811 of the national housing act, as amended.

Silver lake new hope courtyard apartments is managed by telacu residential management, inc., a professional property management company. Telacu residential management, inc. Has a project owner's and management agent's certification for multifamily housing projects with the u.s. Department of housing and urban development. Under this certification, hud has approved telacu residential management, inc. To manage the silver lake new hope courtyard apartments. The management contract encompasses the day to day operations of the project including, but not limited to, collection of rents, maintenance of facilities, supervision of staff, and ongoing support for both the owners and tenants as needed in order to establish a safe, sanitary and affordable environment. None of the officers or directors listed in part vii are compensated by telacu residential management, inc.

The directors of the corporation shall, at all times, be limited to individuals who are either members of project new hope, los angeles, california, or of the governing body of the episcopal church in the diocese of los angeles (a sponsoring organization), or nonmembers who have the approval of a sponsoring organization, of, if the aforesaid approval is withdrawn, then, in either event, such shall constitute automatic resignation as a director of the corporation.
