Shields for Families Inc

Shields for families inc is a compreshensive community based non-profit organization serving families residing in south los angeles with a primary goal to: (1) promote family reunification and support families remaining intact in the community; (2) strengthen families through the provision of comprehensive, collaborative services; (3) improve the general well being of families through comprehensive health programs and preventive social services; and (4) promote self-sufficiency and economic independence. Shields exists to strenghthen the family and community by building skills through education, counseling and support.
