Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

The cfo and the treasurer review the return in detail and have the ability to ask the preparers any questions or make any changes deemed necessary. After an additional review by the ceo, the final version of the form 990 is emailed to all the board members before it is ultimately signed and electronically filed with the irs.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

An annual disclosure questionnaire for identifying conflicts is circulated to all the board members to review, complete and sign. If a potential conflict of interest arises, all details regarding the potential conflict are disclosed to the board. The board, excluding any interested person, will review the conflict and, in conjunction with the management, make a decision on how best to proceed based on the best interest of the institute.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

The ceo annually provides the compensation committee of the board of directors a detailed report of all compensation adjustments, including the adjustments for the institute's officers and senior employees. During their review, the members of the committee inquire about the basis for all compensation determinations, including individual and enterprise performance and available comparability data for similarly situated nonprofit institutions. The compensation committee, excluding the ceo, discusses and approves any adjustments to the ceo's compensation.

Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19

The governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and the financial statements are available to the public at the entity's place of business and upon request.

PART X, LINE 2:

In accordance with the financial accounting standards board's (fasb's) accounting standards codification (asc) topic no. 740, uncertainty in income taxes, the association recognizes the impact of tax positions in the consolidated financial statements if that position is more likely than not to be sustained on audit, based on the technical merits of the position. During the year ended december 31, 2024, the association performed an evaluation of uncertain tax positions and did not note any matters that would require recognition in the financial statements or which might have an effect on its tax-exempt status.
