Prior to 2016, pacific coast tissue bank had temporarily ceased its operations but was continuing to work on updating its protocols in order to comply with fda regulations. In september 2016, pacific coast tissue bank decided that the burden of fda compliance was too prohibitive to continue its efforts and has permanently terminated all operations and dissolved its existence by the end of 2016.

AFTER LIQUIDATION OF ALL ITS ASSETS, PACIFIC COAST TISSUE BANK WAS INSOLVENT. THERE WERE NO FUNDS OR ASSETS TO REPAY THE REMAINING AMOUNT DUE OF $475,588 TO DR. GENDLER. AS A RESULT, PACIFIC COAST TISSUE BANK IS REPORTING THE $475,588 OF CANCELLATION OF INDEBTEDNESS IN OTHER INCOME.
