Casa Milagro House of Hospitality - The San Diego Catholic Worker operates a House of Hospitality, Casa Milagro, that provides shelter and meals to homeless individuals. During FY 13-14 approximately 7 persons were sheltered for a total of 800 bed days.$20,602-
Food Program - The San Diego Catholic Worker provides a free weekly lunch meal every Friday to between 90 and 120 homeless and low-income individuals and families. In FY 13-14 approximately 5,480 lunch meals were served. During the reporting period, approximately 25 volunteers gave 105 hours of time each week.$5,324-
Clothing Distribution Program - The San Diego Catholic Worker distributes clothing, ponchos and blankets 15 times during the reporting period to low income and homeless persons and families at two locations in downtown San Diego. Approximately 95 persons attend each of these clothing distribution events, or, equivalently, approximately 1,425 persons received clothing, ponchos and blankets. Four volunteers give approximately 18 hours each week, distributing, sorting, gathering, and sometimes purchasing new items for distribution. Approximately 500 articles of clothing are distributed each time.$3,250-
