Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

The finance committee, consisting of selected members of the current board of directors, reviews the draft of form 990 prepared by the cpa firm. After the committee's review and approval, the board of directors formally motions and approves the filing of the tax returns by the organization.

Additional Explanations

FORM 990, PART XII, LINE 2C:

The organization has not changed either its oversight process or selection process during the year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization is exempt from federal income taxes under internal revenue code section 501(c)(3) and is also exempt from california income of franchise taxes under revenue and taxation code section 23701(d). Management does not believe that the organization has any uncertain tax positions as of june 30, 2025. The organization evaluates its tax positions and would recognize a loss contingency associated with an uncertain tax position when it is probable that a liability has been incurred as of the statement of financial position date and the amount of the loss can be reasonably estimated. The amount recognized would be subject to estimate and management's judgment with respect to the likely outcome of each uncertain tax position. The amount that is ultimately sustained for an individual uncertain tax position or for all uncertain tax positions in the aggregate could differ from the amount recognized.

PART XI, LINE 4B - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

Special event expense -69,788.

PART XII, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:
