Board member sharon plunkett works at st. Joseph center, one of wsfb's member agencies. Board member bruce rosen works for the bandini foundation, which receives surplus produce from wsfb. Board member richard smith works at calprivate bank, where wsfb opened a bank account and obtained a mortgage loan in fy 2024.”

“Westside food bank requires that all officers, directors and key employees annually sign a statement which affirms that they have: (1) received, read, and understood the organization's conflict of interest policy; (2) agreed to comply with the conflict of interest policy; and (3) understand that the organization is a charitable organization and in order to maintain its tax-exempt status it must engage primarily in activities which accomplish one or more of its tax-exempt purposes. Any potential conflict of interest must be presented to the board of directors for a decision by the board as to what is the appropriate corrective or disciplinary action.”
