Antelope Valley Quilt Association

To provide quilting education for all members.

The specific purpose of this corporation is to promote the appreciation of quilts through education. During monthly meetings various speakers are invited to educate our members by demonstrating their quilting techniques. During follow-up workshops members are taught, are given hands on instruction as how to implement these techniques. Additionally, workshops are scheduled monthly where members gather to make quilts that will be distributed to local organizations that benefit children especially, but also others in need such as victims of a disater. Annually, the association puts on a quilt show open to the public as a way of providing public access to the art of quilting.
