Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3

“APEX has no employees. The Association retains the services of a management firm, Kellen Company, to provide management, back-office services, and use of office space and equipment. The Executive Director is an employee of Kellen Company, and as such, is provided compensation and benefits from Kellen Company. Management fees to the organization totaled $1,206,696 for the year ended December 31, 2016. Additionally, during late 2015, the organization entered into a management services agreement with APEX GA, LLC to provide services to the organization. APEX GA, LLC is a disregarded entity wholly owned by Joe Leader who serves as CEO of the organization. The amounts paid to APEX GA, LLC for services totaled $335,004 for the year ended December 31, 2016.”
