BEYOND THESE INITIATIVES, MANY C4 BOARD MEMBERS MAINTAINED ACTIVE LEADERSHIP ROLES IN KEY STATEWIDE AND NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING THE CA DIALOGUE ON CANCER SERVING ON EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES, VARIOUS SUBCOMMITTEES, AND PLAYED CRITICAL ROLES IN THE ONGOING DEVELOPMENT OF THE 2026-2035 CA CANCER PLAN AND THE CALIFORNIA CANCER CAUCUS ORGANIZING LEGISLATIVE BRIEFINGS TO ELEVATE AWARENESS OF CANCER-RELATED POLICY ISSUES. C4 BOARD MEMBERS ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO THE NATIONAL COLORECTAL CANCER ROUNDTABLE, A JOINT EFFORT LED BY THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY AND THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION, THROUGH PARTICIPATION LEAD OR MEMBERS IN MANY COMMITTEES E.G., POLICIES, MEMBERSHIP, CONFERENCE PLANNING, EARLY ONSET COLORECTAL CANCER.”
