“| Explanation:| Primary Exempt Purpose: The Bluff Park Neighborhood Association BPNA is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization in good standing. Its mission is to preserve protect unify and reflect the historic integrity & goodwill of the Bluff Park Historic District and its approximately 3500 residents. For over 50 years its residents have had an active organization and this is only the 2nd time our annual gross income has exceeded $50,000; the first time was in 2022. BPNA was originally names Beach Area Concerned Citizens to protect the area from ill-conceived efforts to remove the East 1st Street lampposts and allow high-rise multi-unit residences and efforts to further commercialize and limit public enjoyment of our coastal neighborhood. The BPNAs board of directors who serve as unpaid volunteers oversee the Bluff Park Lamppost Project and organize all neighborhood meetings events including our Annual Block Party and our Annual Lamppost Fundraiser. BPNA helps foster a sense of unity and neighborhood collaboration community service and goodwill for all off the city. Its goals are to: 1 Increase neighborhood involvement and participation in the community 2 Protect Preserve Safeguard and Beautify the Bluff Park Historic District 3 Support the neighborhood residents and their environment.”

“| Explanation:| We accomplish the above through various events including Quarterly Neighborhood Clean Ups Quarterly Community Meetings; Meet & Greet Night National Night Out; Bow Breakfast Xmas Decorating; Xmas Decorating at the Historic Bembridge House. Our Biggest Expense is our Annual Block Party. Bank Fees $565; Website Online Expenses $1,296; Event Supplies & Refreshments $2,257; Insurance Licensing & Permits $1,442; Event Rentals & Entertainment $2,713. We also make sizable contributions to the City of Long Beach for the current phase installation of the Lamppost Project. The 2024 contribution was postponed by the city but was budgeted at $30,000. These listed expenses do not include expenses for our fundraisers which is reported on Part 1 Line 6c for $13,005”
