THE ANNUAL MANZANAR PILGRIMAGE REPRESENTS OUR LARGEST AND MOST IMPORTANT EVENT THAT IS ORGANIZED AND SPONSORED BY THE MANZANAR COMMITTEE. THIS EDUCATIONAL EVENT BRINGS TOGETHER A LARGE NUMBER OF PERSONS WHO HAVE AN INTEREST IN THE FORCED INCARCERATION OF PERSONS OF JAPANESE ANCESTRY DURING WORLD WAR II. THE GATHERING IS TO REMEMBER THIS EPISODE AND TO COMMEMORATE THOSE WHO EXPERIENCED THIS LIFE ALTERING EVENT.-$72,619
