Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The community hospital foundation's mission as adopted by the board is the mission of the supported organization, community hospital of san bernardino, which is a non-profit, full-service, acute care facility in business to provide acute inpatient care, long-term care and a wide range of ancillary and therapeutic care to the community we serve. Our vision is to create and provide health care solutions, and meet the health care needs of our community. The foundation fulfills this joint mission by providing philanthropic support for the programs of community hospital of san bernardino (hospital). Fundraising support allows the hospital to carry out its mission, to deliver compassionate, high quality, affordable health services, provide direct services to the poor, and advocate on their behalf and create partnerships that improve community health.

To provide financial assistance and supporting services for community hospital of san bernardino.

IRS990/MissionDesc0THE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION'S MISSION AS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD IS THE MISSION OF THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION, COMMUNITY HOSPITAL OF SAN BERNARDINO, WHICH IS A NON-PROFIT, FULL-SERVICE, ACUTE CARE FACILITY IN BUSINESS TO PROVIDE ACUTE INPATIENT CARE, LONG-TERM CARE AND A WIDE RANGE OF ANCILLARY AND THERAPEUTIC CARE TO THE COMMUNITY WE SERVE. OUR VISION IS TO CREATE AND PROVIDE HEALTH CARE SOLUTIONS, AND MEET THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION FULFILLS THIS JOINT MISSION BY PROVIDING PHILANTHROPIC SUPPORT FOR THE PROGRAMS OF COMMUNITY HOSPITAL OF SAN BERNARDINO (HOSPITAL). FUNDRAISING SUPPORT ALLOWS THE HOSPITAL TO CARRY OUT ITS MISSION, TO DELIVER COMPASSIONATE, HIGH QUALITY, AFFORDABLE HEALTH SERVICES, PROVIDE DIRECT SERVICES TO THE POOR, AND ADVOCATE ON THEIR BEHALF AND CREATE PARTNERSHIPS THAT IMPROVE COMMUNITY HEALTH.
