Each summer we grant funds to member camps for the purpose of covering the cost of a week at camp for underprivileged children with a special focus on kids in the foster care system. CCCA spearheads the nationwide, public-facing campaign, The Power of Camp, reaching youth leaders, parents and prospective camp staff members. CCCA also offers the Thriving Boards Program to help camp and conference center boards identify strategic next steps and benchmarks needed to create a sustainable future. The 9 to 12 month program is built on a cohort-learning model, which includes reading assignments, interactive faculty presentations and practical dialogue among colleagues. |
