The organization's board selects the auditors and oversees the consolidated audit process. This has not changed from the previous year, the board is actively working with a new audit firm to get the 2022 - 2024 audits completed.”

“Soaring society's related organizaton (soaring society of america foundation) holds and administers approximately 20 individual funds established for a variety of purposes including: maintenance and shipping costs for soaring racing trophies and other awards given by ssa; providing periodic cash awards to the winner of the klemperer award; supporting the us soaring team in international competition; generating annual income to be used in support of future team activities; and to defray expenses incurred by the designated us junior champion in attending the junior world gliding championship. Distributions from the foundation are only paid to the organization for use as prescribed in each endowment agreement.”
