However, the Tax Reform Act of 1969 provides for taxes on what is termed unrelated business income. This is generally defined to include interest income, rental income and income from non-member sources such as certain food and beverage sales. No provision for income taxes was necessary for the years ended October 31, 2014 and 2013.The Clubs policy is to recognize a tax position in the financial statements when it is more-likely-than-not the position will be sustained upon examination by the relevant tax authorities. As of October 31, 2014, the Club had no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. As of October 31, 2014, the Clubs annual tax filings for the prior three and four years are open for audit by Federal and state tax agencies, respectively.”

However, the Tax Reform Act of 1969 provides for taxes on what is termed unrelated business income. This is generally defined to include interest income, rental income and income from non-member sources such as certain food and beverage sales. No provision for income taxes was necessary for the years ended October 31, 2014 and 2013.The Clubs policy is to recognize a tax position in the financial statements when it is more-likely-than-not the position will be sustained upon examination by the relevant tax authorities. As of October 31, 2014, the Club had no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. As of October 31, 2014, the Clubs annual tax filings for the prior three and four years are open for audit by Federal and state tax agencies, respectively. |
