As such, and annually, the officers and employees of Local 44 are (1) reminded of their obligations to avoid conflicts of interest and (2) if applicable, to file a Form LM-30 with the United States Department of Labor, an event required by Section 302 if certain conflicts arise. When required, the Local holds training for newly elected officers and staff on the avoidance of conflicts and when the need to file a Form LM-30 may arise.”

The Department then makes the Form LM-2 available to the public on its website. Otherwise, documents and records relating to Local 44s financial status and its conflict of interest policy are available for inspection only by members in good standing of Local 44.”
