“The chamber only has one class of members who has the following rights: a) to participate at chamber meetings, events, and business expositions; b) to vote to elect board members to the chamber board; c) to exclusively advertise for offering their products and services in all chamber print publications, e-newsletters, chamber website as well as at chamber meetings, events, and business expositions; d) to exclusively sponsor or host membership mixers and monthly meetings, annual events, and seminars. Given that chamber members in good standing have the exclusive rights to advertise, host and sponsor, no exceptions are made to non-member persons or businesses.”

“On an annual basis, the chamber receives data from an association that surveys various chambers as to compensation matters. From that data, the finance committee makes a recommendation as to the president/ceo's salary that is then approved by the full board. Part vi, line 15(b) is answered no as there are no other officers or key employees as defined by form 990 instructions who received compensation.”
