Client Note 1 - EL SOLYO SOLD ITS APARTMENT COMPLEX IN 2017 AND AT CLOSING OF THE SALE IT ESTIMATED THAT IT WOULD BE ABLE TO RETAIN THE RESERVE ACCOUNTS IF CERTAIN CONDITIONS WERE ACHIEVED AND FINAL REGULATORY APPROVAL OF THE LENDERS OBTAINED. IN 2018, EL SOLYO WAS INFORMED RURAL DEVELOPMENT WOULD NOT ALLOW EL SOLYO TO RETAIN THE RESERVE FUNDS AND ACCORDINGLY HAS REPORTED THIS AS A LOSS IN 2018. THE TRANSFER OF THE FUNDS HELPS KEEP THE PROJECT AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT WHICH WAS THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION.
