A 3-week competition wherein university students and innovators are invited to produce sustainable enterprise solutions in response to operational gaps (formed into problem statements) shared by partner organizations. The winning concepts are given prizes and provided with mentorship, incubation, and integration support under the labs, if requested. The goal? To further strengthen the relationship between innovators and organizations in generating relevant products, services, and systems towards inclusive and innovative growth. Isip. The innovation for social impact partnership (isip) is co-implemented by phildev and the united nations development programme (undp), with support from the australian government department of foreign affairs and trade (dfat-australia). The project aims to eradicate poverty in the philippines by developing more social enterprises and their innovative solutions to pressing societal challenges. It will provide technical support, business advice, and enhance their capability to access seed funding and attract investors. Isip will focus on education, entrepreneurship, and policy agenda. The project will help build capabilities as well as promote collaboration among these areas, accelerating developments towards creating a more sustainable and robust entrepreneurship ecosystem in the philippines.”
