OUTREACH, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING: THE LABOR PROJECT POLICIES FOR WORKING FAMILIES. WE CONTINUE TO WORK WITH LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES. THE PROJECT ALSO CONTINUES TO WORK WITH FAMILY AND WORK SERVICES. WORKED WITH SEVERAL LABOR-MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES TO ESTABLISH BENEFITS AND COMMITTEES REPRESENTING VARIOUS TYPES OF WORKERS AS WELL AS UNION COALITIONS ON THE ISSUES OF FAMILY LEAVE POLICIES AND IMPROVED CHILD CARE.-$346,677

Conducted extensive training and education to unions on california paid family leave law. This included on site trainings, development and distribution of materials, answering questions and providing technical assistance. Also worked with coalitions in other states on paid family leave issues.

Advocate for better policies for working families at the state and national level through convening a state coalition on issues such as family leave, child care and flexible work options and on the national level, collaborating with unions and advocacy organizations.

Outreach, technical support, education, and training: the labor project policies for working families. We continue to work with labor management committees. The project also continues to work with family and work services. Worked with several labor-management committees to establish benefits and committees representing various types of workers as well as union coalitions on the issues of family leave policies and improved child care.
